Link Exchange Question

When you give some one a URL for a link exchange which one should i be using?

http://fatburningpillreviews.com/index.php

http://www.fatburningpillreviews.com/

Does it matter? I've been using the first one with .index.php at the end..

 

I would say use the www always. Search Engines could (and often do) list the domain .com different than www. domain .com so you are splitting the link juice up between the www and non-www. Most people who link to sites unsolicited will use the www in the link, so you might as well go with that.

Though a 301 redirect from the one to the other will ensure that the link juice goes to the right place.

 

definately do a 301 request form the domain to the www.domain its in .htaccess you do it

 

I suggest to use the second url. Gazu is right.

use the url with www.. it would be better.. google considers www and without www as different sites and ranks them individually.. However, if since beginnin you've built links on the one without www then you should continue doing that.. But do not forget to redirect your page with www to the one with www.. that way everyone looks at the page that has more backlinks...
