Building A Responsive Opt-in List

There are many ways to go about developing a responsive mailing list. I thought that I would share some techniques that have worked for me to build my list.

    1. Choose a niche - Choose a niche that you have fun talking about.

    2. Set up an opt-in page - dose not have to be anything fancy.

    3. Give an Incentive to join - Provide your subscribers with some sort of quality product or info that solves a problem they may be having in order to get them to join. (Related to your niche)

    4. Double opt-in - Have the subscriber confirm their email before receiving their Incentive. This way you know they are interested in what you have to offer.

    5. Don't bombard your list - Don't send your subscribers 10 emails a day about the same product. If it didn't work the first time it is probably not going to work the 10th time. (Treat your list with respect.)

Theses are just some of the many techniques I use to build my list. There are many more and when used all together it is a beautiful thing allowing you to help people with their problems and having fun making money. It is the best Investment I have ever made.

    To your online success,

    Zachary Radford

Good job. We should consider a cross promotion sometime, as I have a list targeted to the same niche.

i think the best way to build a responsive list is to build a relationship with them. never sell to them, make recommendations. provide more information than anybody else that's useful and explain why you use a product.

i've had people email me asking if i have an affiliate link for a product because they want to purchase it and they want me to get the commission for it. i take that as a massive compliment.

just act like a friend and they will really appreciate it

That's the key :) It boils down to the fact that people buy people, not products, services, or programs. We do business with those who we like, know, and trust.

I agree, you constantly have to further you connection with your readers. By asking them questions about them self’s and what they like. It works wonders to be on a personal level with your list.

Thanks, thats a good starting point. Some more are:

    - Personalise your emails (especially when sending out affiliate products)
    - Get your list involded. Ask them questions and see how they are goin with their business.
    - Don't send too many "promo" emails, keep it to 1 per week at the very most. (this may vary though)
