If you're trying to sell an ebook, it's not our job to convince you that you have nothing to offer; it's your job to prove you do have something to offer... And you haven't done that at all...

You have 0 iTraders, no reputation points, refused to prove you own a successful site, and haven't given any proof that you know anything about SEO... Why should DPers trust you?

You know NOTHING my friend, the data gained from a PPC campaign regarding keywords, conversion data, click throughs and information architecture is highly valuable within SEO.

Read this short case study by Redfly Marketing, then come back and try and tell everyone you are not an idiot.

    Your turn.

manchesterguy, stop trolling. Turning an entire forum against you and giving such a bad first impression is not the way to gain customers.

Yes, I agree. Manchesterguy, it's your job to convince people, not the otherwise. I give you an example:

You said: I can create clones for human
    People said: How?
You said: I know some secrets that no one else know
    People said: What's the proof?
You said: I can't give you the secret. If I give you that information, I will destroy the entire humanity industry :D

Got my point? What are you babbling about? You are just talking, for what reason? To get respect from webmasters? Only for that?

Now I ask you, what do you want with this thread? I even do not get it why did you create this thread. If you want to sell ebook, wow, you must be stupid with all your posts. It makes people angry and unconvinced.

I agree with unconvinced but I actually find his determination and persistence admirable.

I am sure that he has something to offer but think his post was a bit premature. If the e-book was ready and someone here said "hey I read it and it's got some very helpful advice" the outcome may be better.

I am not one to criticize what others say and do unless they ask for it. By posting here he has asked for it. Really now nobody can second guess the people that write code for algos. SEO professionals will (edit sp) try and anticipate the most likely case but the truth is nobody really knows. This is probably why there is soooooo much money in SEO.

A believable promise to the right people.

Your e-book may sell like hotcakes and I hope it does. With a little planning and convincing you may be able to make some believers here. But I fear the deeper we go the more time is wasted with hollow words. People want the juice not peels.

What it would take to convince me is a live case. Since it's really your thread why not ask the readers for a website and a keyphrase and walk through the basic process? Most of the DP nation are pretty knowledgeable in SEO and then proper opinions could be formed.

You see, I have a personal property that I call money and when I part with my property I like to know what I am getting in return. So far I see nothing. At the same time I can see why you want to protect your investment. I think it's time to pull a card out before this thread gets closed, locked or your current audience begins to unsubscribe.

    Show time!

If this was something worth talking about it would be on problogger, seo roundtable, matt cutts, all the usual people who push ebooks like 30days, shoe money, doshdosh etc etc. It's not, so it isn't :)

Can we please have this thread locked now?

Once he has something to show he can open a new thread with a review copy or two.

    Sigh :(

I just destroyed the entire doughnut industry. I have found a way to make them better than Krispy Kreame and Duncan at half the cost and time! But I am not sure if I should tell you. In fact, I will horde it and eat them all, and die happily in my sugar-induced coma. Ba. Ha. Ha. Ha.

    /sarcasm

You had the hook on page 1-3, and about where I posted. Had you said NOTHING after that the hook would have remained. Or just answered with "Just thinking about it" and let everyone dangle for about a month, doing the surprise thing of NOT SAYING ANYTHING MORE. As in, you decided against it. That would have been the ultimate hook, and make people get whiny and demand to know. Then, acting begrudgingly, you could have given two review copies to people here with high iTrader and completely honest reputations. If it was truly good, at that point you could make thousands upon thousands.

But you killed the hook by dangling it too much. You completly killed it. Anything else you do will continue to further the damage, there is no more spin control. Just smiling and acting like you don't care through the tones of your posts only indicates that either you don't grasp the gravity of the situation you have put this in, or you still hold out false hope someone will continue to bite. You might be right about that, there will probbably be a few - but not nearly as many as you could have had by waiting a month and saying you decided not to - then a month later offer to show two people, get good feedback if it is really that great, then sell it for whatever price and make a ton.

Anyone want an amateur marketing strategist (not relating to website strategies)? I'll even sell my neighbors soul, half off.

errr ummmm you got me going with the doughnut thing (I love Krispy Kreme as well as Duncan Doughnuts) and then you just dropped it. So how much do you want for your doughnut secrets? I would much rather have that than to know how the OP destroyed the SEO industry :D

Feel with you, I don't accept new clients either, but the discussion made me up to try just one of his so called secrets. Let's see if I can beat you for "seo company" and how much time it will need.

Well like I said earlier, I had written a framework to support my own SEO work. I wasn't meaning to sell it or anything originally. That's why this thread doesn't read like a marketing thread. It was basically a catharsis where I wanted to share my feelings about the fact that real SEO knowledge is being denied to the public, even those willing to learn.

However, since many people are interested in obtaining critical knowledge, I'd be willing to consider it for release, even in the form of a sale of a book.

if you guys don't believe me and still think l'm a snake oil salesman, or even a regular salesman, take a look at this earlier thread of mine: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=424260

I had attempted to share my feelings there too, about a similar topic.

If you want to share your feeling, go to pastor, don't go here. Go to your family (or you don't have any families?) or to your close friends. Why did you go here, what were your point? Or because you have no real life, then you "share your feeling" to SEO forum?...oh God...money is nothing without life, you know...if you already know that people denied your claim (like your earlier thread), then why did you repeated your act?

Most amusing thing I read for years (and probably for years to come).

Thanks manchester you should change to the entertaining industry, for sure the SEO industry can and will survive with or without you; and don't worry release you e-book, I am sure it will not hurt or destroy anyone or anything.
