Please help with this mods!!

My friend has recently got an email from a man named Jeremy Meindl with the email address asking for my phone number, of course she was a bit worried about just giving out my phone number so she asked him how he knew me, and she got this reply:

As far as I know, I do not owe anyone any money on these or any forums, and I have not received any emails, and as far as I know I am not banned on DP.

PLEASE HELP!! I Don't want them to do anything to me for something I have not done!!

That email sounds like garbage to me. I dont see the MODs providing people with any information like that. I highly doubt that the state police would have any interest in someone claiming that another person owes them 40 bucks.

 

1st off any mod that gives a member an ip# would not be a mod anymore, and i would think they would be banned from DP too. no mod would ever tell a member any info from DP no matter what threats or anything was made. any private info would come direct from Shawn, following a court order. not even Crazy_Rob can give that info out as a DP admin, so chill. and relax

 

Not unless there were some kind of threats, or maybe consistant "stalking"

Appearantly he thought it was me, because it was my website on ghost.down 's profile but it was actually the banned member ghost.d0wn that scammed him.

Cant the admin do it? I am having way too much trouble from this with lots of people thinking I am a scammer

 

Coolalex your 15 and you have a good acount here on DP but you risk that good name and rep if you hang out with the wrong people on DP, it is a hard lesson to learn, but we all have to learn no matter of our age.

alex STFU ok, dont draw attention to yourself , i think everyone here has seen your age and your great photoshop blog, and for a kid you have a lot to offer members on DP. dont fuck it up by drawing unneeded atention to yourself for other peoples abuse or scams.
