WildStone, I'll be honest with you, your really only harming yourself now. In 40 days, you only did 2 directory submissions! That takes at most 4 minutes. In business there is no excuse, I'll tell you honestly, no one gives a crap what happened. Once you take a project, you must make sure you have time to complete it, even if something unexpected happens. That's what separates a good business person from a bad one. I will tell you that if I was in your situation , and that my mom was really in the hospital, then I would stay up all night long to finish up the projects. You have to make it your priority, no matter what. Reputation will always follow you for your life.

This guy is pushing some very good results to some of my website. I'm talking about keywords with some very good competition. I don't understand all the bashing? SEO is a very unique process. Some rankings take longer then others, but Wildstone has keeped every promise and my websites are ranking in the top 10 on google.

 

as i said before, i dont think he steals money from everyone, i think what happened is he took on too many clients, did what he could and the rest got screwed. if he would of done work but no good or promised results that would of been understandable, but when you did nothing but claim that you did - thats a problem.

As you can see, I tried to give him a way to resolve it. I received no response to these. But I also did something else - note the date and time of the last email 11/13 2:16 PM. Not getting a response, I also logged on here and posted a message (he didn't know I had a nick here) that I am interested in his services. 11/13 2:13PM (not sure why the time doesn't line up - maybe time zone differences).

At 3:04 PM I get a response from him with a standard sales pitch. So we exchange a few more messages, now through here, where I am asking him why he is hiding and stuff. This was the last message I received:

So now we get to his "proof".

In the two screenshots he posted, the earliest submission to a directory was 11/16, as you can see, after all of this, and fully 38 days after he said he would work on it.

Furthermore, he claims that he generated all these backlinks, that exist there now, yet as you can see from the link he gave you before that none of the directories he submitted me to actually provided any backlinks yet.

Now, let me post some screenshots.

Eh .. here are two. I did 3 more, the digital signage expo - we are exhibitors there so we get a backlink off that. All in all - that is what amounts to these 20 or so backlinks that you see here.

WildStone the best thing you can do is admit that you didn't do the work that the person payed for. Even though you did refund the client in full, but the problem is that to get a refund, the client had to go throw all means. Take a look at the your replies to the client's emails. On most days, you would respond on average about 5-6 days after you received the email. You cannot possibly say that you couldn't get to a computer earlier then 5-6 days? Admit that you are wrong, and next time, don't repeat this situation.

OK ,maybe wildstone should have refunded the money sooner, but at least he refunded it. I once bought a website here on dp from someone and wanted a refund from that &^%*&%&. He said i should give him back the website and he will refund my money. I sent him the website back, but never got the money, then he threatened me witha lawsuit because i was trying to smear his name because i posted i got ripped off by him.

The point here is that wildstone could have handled this better, but he did refund the money so it was a happy ending for the person that paid(though he lost some time). Wildstone though seems to have many happy customers here so he must have done a good job for most of them. The next time he should keep that money on the side just in case an emergency did come up(and you guys dont know, these emergencies could have happened), and to the person who said he didnt get any good keywords ranked , then how can he have so many satisfied clients?


Wild stone why not just appologize and chalk this up to a learning experience my friend. You still have your seo skills and you can show them off to future clients. Trust me i also feel for the client that didnt get his results because in business you have to try your best to honor your word as your word is a huge part of who you are as a man or woman. If i were the seo i would even give some free work to show that im trying to make it up to him.

I was reading the thread and the I came across what Ykniaz said in post #331. I was looking at those 2 attachments. Yes, he did purchase a service, but for who? I am not accusing wildstone, but I cant tell what website that service is going towards.

I got to ask this question to wildstone. Why do you curse at people? When I mean curse at people, I mean people who have paid you? You have done it to me and from the looks of it, you have done it to other people. Sure, we all have clients that we want to share our opinions, but you just cant do that. I look at this way... the client can say anything what he or she expresses... even if it boils you.... but you have to remain claim and be professional. Did I ever curse you out? NO!!!

You haven't refunded my money yet. The last time I knew, you were thinking about refunding my money. You could have AIM, yahoo messenger, email, or PM me for my details, but you haven't. Are you going to do that?
