DIGG Frontpage - Get your story Popular on DIGG for $50 (Plz read my first post fully

After offering Stumble Upon service for the last couple of months and since it went well, I'm starting a DIGG service.

I have got a few stories popular on DIGG in the last few weeks. So, I hope I can get your stories to the frontpage too, provided they are interesting stories. This is how it would be done

1) You have to provide me with the story. If its a DIGG frontpage worthy story, then we take it forward, else you will have to send me a better story.

2) If step 1 goes through, you will have to send $25 (first installment) to my PAYPAL account. The balance $25 needs to be paid after the service has been completed.

3) You will submit the story using your DIGG acount and immediately send me the DIGG URL.

4) I will pass it on to my friends and will ask them to DIGG the story.

5) If the story becomes popular, you will have to transfer the $25 balance to my paypal account.

6) If the story does not become popular (it might not even be my fault) you agree to pay me $0.5 per digg your story has got in the first 30 hours from the time of submission (you are likely to get some diggs after 30 hours, for which you don't have to pay me)

7) If your story doesn't get atleast 50 diggs, then I shall make a pro rata refund, from your initial deposit of $25 and keep the rest for myself.

Why I won't make a FULL refund if the story doesn't hit the frontpage

I would have to put in lot of effort to get diggs for you. If your story doesn't hit the frontpage it might be because of many reasons, most of which I don't have control over. For ex. if you get a certain number of bury's, your story will not feature on the frontpage of DIGG, no matter how many DIGG's it manages to get. Your story might be buried if you have an ad filled spammy page, if your story has grammer mistakes, if your story is factually incorrect and so on. I have little control over this. This also acts as an incentive for you to send well written stories. Also, for each digg your story gets, you get a high PR backlink from the DIGG users page (the person who has dugg your story). I feel each of these backlinks is definitely worth $0.5 (actually much more than that)

Terms of Service
1) I can only take a maximum of 1 order per day and 5 orders per week.
2) I would take orders only from DP members who either have an iTrader of over 10 or have over 500 posts.

I don't want any disputes down the line, so let me emphasise this point.
The cost of the service is $50 of which $25 needs to be paid upfront. Just incase your story doesn't hit the frontpage, you will still have to pay $0.50 per digg your story has received within first 30 hours of submitting it. This charge will be adjusted against the upfront payment (and the balance, if any, will be refunded to you)

Case 1 - Your story gets 110 diggs (in first 30 hours), but doesn't hit the frontpage
You will have to pay me $55, of which the $25 paid upfront will be adjusted and the balance $20 needs to paid/

Case 2 - Your story gets 40 diggs (in first 30 hours), but fails to make it to the frontpage
You will have to pay me $20. Since you have already made an upfront payment of $25, I will refund $5 to you.

Case 3 - Your story gets 40 diggs and hits the DIGG frontpage (within 24 hours). You will have to pay me $50. Deducting the $25 upfront payment, you owe me $25.

Those running wordpress blogs on shared servers or VPS are advised to install the wp-cache plugin to prevent your site crashing due to the "digg effect"

Case 4 : Hits front page with 250 Diggs in 1st 30 hours
What will be the price then ..
What if i have a small team of my own and ask them to digg the story too and it still does not reach the home page .. will i have to pay you for Diggs which my team has done ?

 

Hi, if it hits the frontpage, then the price is fixed at $50. No matter how many diggs you get, you will still have to pay just $50.

If you have a team, you would need to send me the list of user ID's from which they will digg the story, before submitting the story. This way I can discount diggs got from your team and charge you only for the other diggs that your story has got.

From what I've heard, digg has hired Indians to scourge around forums and ban people/websites

 

Hi, By posting live DIGG URL's on a public forum, you are likely to get your DIGG account banned.

Also, These are the kind of storeis which get lots of buries. Even though your article has over 30 diggs it isn't appearing in the upcoming stories section anymore, which means it has received enough buries to prevent the story from hitting the frontpage.

Please explain me the case as below

lets assume case5
where story gets 600 digg, but could not manage to reach front page.
so in this case do we need to pay you $275 ($300 for diggs - $25 upfront)

I think the pricing sholuld be capped to max $50 whatever the way.

Or explain me your point.

 

websol, you are not likely to get more than 100 diggs without hitting the frontpage. If you hit the frontpage, $50 is what you pay. You would pay 50 cents per digg only if you don't hit the frontpage.

 

I completely understand, but then why did you mention case 1 with 110 diggs.

That make me confused, and you mentioned $55 in your original post (110 Diggs).

 

I understand your pricing well enough, but you've created a bit of work for yourself by making a complicated pricing system. You should just charge $25 for the service and an extra $25 if it makes front page.

If I use your service it's really important that my URL doesn't get banned... can you take measures to prevent this somehow?

Newton, I can only say that in case your website gets banned by DIGG, I can assure you that its not because of my service. All diggs will be from existing users, most of them old and frequent users of digg. Till now none of the clients with who I worked have got their site banned. If your site gets banned it is probably because lots of digg users buried your story either because it was not a well written story or because the webpage was spammy with too many ads.

 

I purchased this service and will give a full review after completion. Lets see if I make the front page.
