Article submissions have been working great for my clients.....they are not only getting backlinks showing up but also receiving actual traffic.......most directories I use are pr3+ and they help for backlinks....
In this case doesnt appeared Duplicate Content Issue. When u submit yr article content in any directory so they ask abt Author & Source name. so u must add yr site url & author name who has written yr site article. so SE hasnt consider as a Duplicate Content.
I agree, articles must be unique not the duplicate ones.. That's why duplicate issue happens in articles...
The original article will work very good and will provide you a high quality back link, I have submitted an original article to www.Buzzle.com, in the recent page rank update My article had the 4 page rank, with a high quality link to my website.
Umm, I may be the only one that thinks like this, but I always preferred to publish MY articles on MY site. The Bonus in doing so is: No duplicate content out there competing with yourself. Unique content attracting more Organic Inbound Links (Because they can't find it anywhere else). Getting more direct links to you, rather than people linking to your article in someone else's directory. (Meaning they may get 1,000 IBL's & you still only get that 1 IBL from the article you posted) Aids in building a Uniquely Robust site filled with Viable content & additional pages to serve as doorways in the SERP's. You have to realize that these article sites get traffic & organic IBL's because of the content rich articles submitted to them, Not on their own accord. You are what made them popular & in doing so made your article common & far from Unique. Unique is one of a kind that can be found nowhere else, If there is 100 places to find it, then thats 100 more places people can link to besides YOU. Self Publishing carries the most Long term benefits no matter how you break it down & analyze it. At any rate, this is my view on articles, But what's my opinion compared to thousands of others. I wish you luck!
I've never seen a problem with duplicate content. The sites are different enough, it seems.... I'd aim at the high PR sites. That's what we did when building up the article directory site and you can see the results.
our purpose is more traffic and more backlinks for a site. So we can submit our data to many directories.
