    ad targeting is working fine for me.. have you tried using
    <!-- google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) -->
    ...
    <!-- google_ad_section_end -->
    to improve relevance of displayed ads?

    Yes, as far as I know it helps give more targeted ads. Even if it doesn't though, it's still good for search engine optimization so it wouldn't hurt :).

    Yes, any keywords on the site help. As suggested before if you have a minimum amount of keywords, use section targeting + alt image keywords. Also, if you have SEO optimized URLS, those help as well.... along with good titles for each page.

    Maybe ads are so little in number of what keywords you are using. so it show diff type ads.

    Do you use a common header?
    you can target the meta description then..

    Depending on what kind of photo site you have I would definitely write some captions reflecting the keywords and them of the site you're going for.

    I did that on my blog and it worked.

    sandrodz, put more text on your site, rich descriptions for the photos etc. You should know, that adsense ads are targetted by point where your visitor come from. For example, if he will put in search engine the word 'photos' and click then on your site, he will get more ads about photos probably (probably, because it's not only one determinant for ads targetting).

    The problem with adsense is that publishers have limited control on the type of ads which your site is triggering. The section targeting is a nice feature, but still there are many factors which determine the type of ads you will be showing.

    Some of the key factors are:

    - Domain Name

    - url structure ...e.g. www.cars.com/auto/insurance would be triggering more "auto insurance" ads, while www.cars.com/body/parts would be triggering more "body parts" ads

    - In addition it is crucial the content which you have. If you dont have content, you dont have the kind of control which you are asking and basically you can try improving the other factors.

    I have had an image hosting site which developed pretty well and I learned that putting "Alt" tags on images were also biasing the ads.

    - As for the META description and keywords, the META Description indeed helps trigger more relevant ads, and is crucial for SEO so it is A MUST ! While the META Keywords is really old fashion thing IMO and its quite controversial whether or not it is of importance anymore.

    Cheers,
    Nik

    yes I agree, actually I have some real content not only photos :) like reviews etc. canon ef 17-40 f4L usm lens review for example.

    My urls are also structured.

    And I find that yahoo loves meta keyword descriptions :)

    thx.
