Sorry no country is a threat! It comes surprising from a person who is anti-Islamic and anti-communistic I think poverty and lack of education is the greatest threat. This is what shapes a man. The world is still governed and influenced by the individual and his/her small actions!
I've known peaceful poor people, and peaceful ill-educated people. I think the greatest threat to world peace is the belief that there is one answer for everyone. This absolutism comes in many colors, and such a belief is unfortunately a zero-sum game when it comes to other beliefs.
The Saudi people gave us no permission it was the gov't. They wanted us their for the Gulf War and we told them we would leave, did we ever leave? No this angered them, and some didn't want us there in the first place like OBL. You always listen to your enemy, ever heard of the saying "keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer". Its smart to listen to what they say.
The Saudi's asked us to come and to stay for a period unit they were sure Iraq was no longer a threat. Once we entered Iraq we left.. Your point is?

The biggest threat is the people who live for destruction and chaos. Every religion, race, culture, country, ethnicity, etc. has a few idiots that want to f*ck up things for everyone else. Oh man, if you just knew HOW America fights the dictators, breaking all *democratic* rules that they propagate. Im telling this based on my views on Ukraine & Georgia, now you can see what is happening there. Instable situation, nearly revolution, and GWB cannot do much anymore. Although, I do not believe that a country miles away care about it, the army base in east europe, thats what they care for.
Im sure a rule here or there may get broken, but everyone seems to think America has some hidden agenda in everything we do. its just not so. Our country may have some issues, but the intentions are always for the good. As an American i can tell you this. Our country is a great place, not only do we lookout for ourselves, we do as much as we can for hundreds of other countries. It is an American obligation to share the freedom and Blessings we have come to know. I honestly believe envy is playing a big part in this poll, and that is sad. America is far from innocent, but we are even farther from being a world peace threat.
