Proxy earnings

Hi guys

Can anyone help me! ( no sarcastic replys )

My proxy site is pulling in more than 1k unique visits per day but my ecpm is stupidly low the % click is about 1.5% thus making me very little $$ any ideas on how i can increase both! i know its a lame question but i have another site more or less the same bringing in more $$ with much less traffic.

only thing i can suggest is not to make your ads blend. the ads are in a pretty good position right now.

 

Try adding some better keywords - things like 'bypass' can bring up health ads (heart bypass etc), unblock/blocked = plumbing ads. These are better paid than 'proxy'. The key to a good CTR on a proxy is relevant ads, and quality traffic. Some traffic (i.e. Iran/China) will hardly ever click ads, and when they do you'll get cent clicks...

Use Image ads instead of text ads, you'll notice a better CTR.

 

Proxy sites ecpm is generally low anyways, however as another person stated use good keywords.
Have you got google anayltics, so you can see where your visitors are from?

Here is something you can do:
Place cpm ads on proxified pages. That should help out alot.

 

Logylaps wouldnt that breach TOS?

 

Instead of using google ads on proxifed pages why dont you use some referrer links(affiliate links)? you may earn some money quick not as google 1000 clicks for $10 or $15.

 

Going back to the ads on the proxifed pages anyone recomend anyone for this?

 

Why are you using just image ads?
Try text on one side, and images on the other.

And just an error I found ...
When you click "Quick Links" it sends me to http://www.sasproxy.com/index.html, which is broken. Change that to http://www.sasproxy.com/index.php so it will work .

Also remove the "Sponsored Links" text you have on the left.
You'll find you will get a lot more clicks by doing that.

Last, but not least, make separate channels for each ad so you can see which gets the most clicks, and which don't.

Trust me, image ad units will preform better on a proxy site and increase CTR.

 

Try a link unit above the url bar.

Yup, it would it you put adsense ads. I recommend adbrite or adversal (if you can get in).

too much topsite logos on your site...

 

I would display text only ads.... they work great on my proxy sites.

 

Get a different niche and create real content. The most profitable proxy in the world probably doesn't make enough to pay rent, where as the best sites with unique content buys mansions.
