How many of you use landing pages to soften up your traffic or do you send them straight to the affiliate page from PPC advertising?
You'll find that this topic is covered quite a bit if you do a search for landing pages. I see a fairly even split with my aff base, however the scale does tip to those that do use them, as they have plenty more advantages over direct linking and I see those aff's converting more... (having a min-site these days is good too for those that believe in the google slap). Cheers, NC.
it depends if you are promoting close to 10products not related to the same niche how many landing pages can you actually do I have for some of the top ones but for the others I just go directly to the site and it works fine
well landing pages i don't mean write up my own, i got better things to do really than waste my time and money trying to write up another whole salespage, what i mean is like little landing pages that are like "i bought this product and i loved it blah blah blah" before sending them to the main page.
Can you send people directly to the vendor's site with your CB id with Adwords? I thought Adwords didn't allow affiliate links? I'm new to CB, so I'm still learning.
ive promoted some products like that through Adwords and still kinda do, they haven't said anything and i think people said its fine.
I spotted this in the Adwords T&Cs, does this suggest that "bridge pages" or landing pages are not allowed?
Landing pages often offer many benefits that direct-linking doesn't, such as the ability to grab an email address, ability to gather much better stats (conversion, analytics data as well as keywords search info), custom tailor your message to your audience, and potentially even upsell and offer bonuses. I would highly recommend them over direct linking, if I had to give someone advice on whether or not to start with them. That is actually referring to redirect pages, where the visitor is automatically/without option redirected to some other random website.
