that's not funny! if you're a zombie reading "SEO Book", you'll find that funny. Lots of SEO sellers want you to believe that theres no such thing as an optimal keyword density. But that's far from the truth! There is one!

that's why I want to ask you guys what you know about it?

    The more important question is...

Please do some homework, what he is saying is true. Keyword density is a major factor in content writing (serps) today...we are not talking meta tags.

By gleaning this thread I get the feeling the OP has some info that will benefit with "New SEO". Take it or leave it, no need to throw daggers.

Read up on LSI- co occurrence matrix.

OP's agenda may or may not be to promote a product of his own but so what? Especially if we all stand to gain!

Put youself in the (giant) boots of google. Would you have created an optimal keyword density that allows anyone a huge boost in serp? I dont think so. To claim that there is such a thing as "the best keyword density that google just loves" is complete bs.

Many of the new seoer's believe it is one important element. If you read some of the Google patents over the last year or so you will get a sense for where they are going, but that's another thread. I am not saying that it's a magic bullet, I am saying to try and recognize when something is said that you can put in your bank :).

Hmmm... not convinced so far with what manchesterguy has to offer.

Tell me if you have an affiliate program already and has a ready made landing page that talks the way just like you do on this thread. Maybe I'll do good in selling your ebook. So at least no time is wasted on my part going through all the pages.

Admittedly I have not read it from 1st to last, I have just skimmed it. So i can't say either way. I can say every thread like this usually has free hidden treasures that may be worth experimenting with.

I would say anybody that isn't is not maximizing traffic from search engines, old school is pretty well obsolete.

No affiliate program yet, but will probably create one once the book is released.

about keyword density: i know from experience that there is a keyword density that works. there is so much misinformation out there that is deliberately placed that you won't know the truth if it hit you in the face.

a lot of the top expert SEOs are not really SEOs, but social bookmarking experts. the real SEOs are those you seldom hear about.

another example: have you guys ever seen the SEO Tools recommended by some of the ostensibly top SEO experts in their ebooks? Well they totally suck! i wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot long pole.

and they do it on purpose.

Hmmmm, i've read most of this thread. I've heard a lot of speculation on how this could revolutionize the industry. Now, i've read several SEO articles, blogs, and ebooks. Most of them regurgitate the same things over and over again. I'll give your writing a fair shot, if you have something new or unique to offer that I wasn't aware of before, I will gladly positively make note of it in public. I would love to give your writing a fair review. But I won't buy your book, and I highly doubt anyone else would either, without multiple positive and unbias reviews.

Even freelance content writing has to be intimate with website owners. I believe the sort of content writing the OP is talking about will support your keyword strategy and business model.

Me thinks content writers today need to know allot more about the master-plan of the site they are writing for :).

Homer, even though i'm a professional copywriter myself, i'm not talking about content here!

i'm talking pure technique. i'll say it again, THERE IS NO WAY TO BE AN SEO, except

    1. years and years of experience, which is the difficult way
    2. mentoring by the best, which is very rapid and probably the hardest to get
    3. reading a truthful guide that mirrors a professional, which is probably the easiest way. unfortuntely, you can be waylaid by these guides too.

I haven't read the fine details of what you are saying or selling exactly. I was attracted to the thread simply by the bold title. In SEO, years and years of experience may be your worst enemy. I have opted in on option 2 a few months ago and it is the best thing I have done in 9 years of webmastering. There is no magic bullet, agree.

Strategy is the only way for long term marketing success.

I can't believe this thread is still going... I'll give credit to manchesterguy, he's probably marketing the same old bull**** ebook, but he's doing a good job drumming up interest...
