10-20 directory a day doesn't matter. How good those directory ranked, that matter.

For directories I wouldn't even pace it. Submit to your hearts content. The approval rate varies so much on directories that it would be hard to get even # of links. Besides, a few hundred links wont matter.

You should look into something besides directories like ReceiveLinks.

I think every seo-friendly directory that has pr>1 is good.
There are many directories that are now pr0 and tomorow they will be pr4.

Do you think i should submitt to high pr directories only ?

Step by Step, first choose high PR directories, specially good SE ranking.

It's hard to know how Google penalizes if you are building too fast. The key, I think, is to stay consistent in your link building, no matter the pace you choose.

Hire someone to write you some articles. Then write 1-2 press releases per week and distribute them through different services like Webwire, PRWeb, 24-7press release, etc.

This is the best way to get one way links. It works very well.

I think you should simply try to make it look as real as possible..... start with only a few links until cached by google and then get more, no matter how many, just as long as they're from high quality sources.

about 50 links a month is a good rate to build links. This makes it look natural and search engines love this.

    Here's a free Directory List

Keep in mind that many older directories can take months to review your free submissions. To eliminate the wait, you can pay for a quick review.

What's important is that you take a balanced approach to your link building.

Some sites acquire thousands of links in a very short space of time The key is that they are acquired naturally.

So when you're building links make sure you represent that natural pattern and you'll be fine.

Don't just build links from directories or just from press releases and articles or just from reciprocal or just from site wides... you get the picture :)

Imagine a site that never built links. They just waited for people to link to them because their content is so great.

What would their link profile look like? Would it incorporate lots of forums links where people were discussing said site? Would it incorporate lots of blog posts where yet more people were discussing this great site?

Would there be news and articles and editorial citations? Would people start book marking the site on social news sites or sharing it with their friends/colleagues on social networking sites?

    Yyyyyyyyes...

This is what you should try and replicate.

Make sure you build high value and low value links. High and low value directories are both ok. Try and build trust from as early as possible (or wait until your links have gained trust).

Use all the resources available to you - relevant forums and blogs, press releases, article directories a sitewide or 2 and a few 'genuine' reciprocals won't hurt.

Then, last but not least, build link worthy content.

    K

Submitting to ten directories a day doesn’t means you will get all of them approved in a day :)
