I am sure that music has a future but I doubt very seriously it will ever be as good as the music's past

    Hi all

Off course, music has bright future and its never ends. Music is also live on forever.
In these days Pakistani pop & Folk singers are famous singers as compare to indian
pop singers. Specially Ali Haider, Jawad Ahmed, Abrar Ul Haq, Sajjad Ali, Hadiqa are
very popular in Pakistan as well as in Europe and middle east.

    Bye

The good old days of music are certainly over. Kids now seems to enjoy trash. Music back then was raw. There was a time when people made music for the love of it.

Anyway, recording companies will soon be ancient. Look what Radiohead did with their new album. Smart asses.

People still listen to music - the teens I know are probably more into music than many of my friends were at the same age. The sound changes, but it's still music.

There's still many talented and interesting musicians in underground music, but mainstream is devoid of talent anymore.

If you want good music now, you really need to hunt for it!

if you want to hear real music, check out indie bands. Radio stations don't want you to hear anything that's new and talented, which is why they play the same old shit all day long.

Music has a long and bright future...just because selling CDs isnt nearly as profitable as before doesn't mean that there aren't plenty of other ways for artists and labels to make money in the industry.

In my opinion music will always have a future, even if people downloads music, and not buy it, the musicians still makes tons of cash. People will always buy cd's, in my opinion the music industry is growing. Even though the future won't hear classics like the Beatles, the Rolling Stones etc,... it's still going to hear music.

Only way music itself will die out is if the whole world suddenly becomes deaf.

Now capitalizing on music itself business wise? Now that is a little tricky... one thought though is that artists should easily look on how to capitalize on "FREE" online downloads which nobody has been smart enough to work around (advertising anybody?).

Music will live forever... because the recording industry is facing such hard times with selling cds, the possibility of them trying to push live concerts even more is that much more likely.
