Before you beat me to a bloody pulp with a stick - I have searched high and low. I seem to get a mix reaction so I figured the only way for me to settle this is to show you my site: http://www.earnmoneytoblog.com It uses both AdSense and Kontera and I would like to know if this is a violation. Both use the same color links, so I'm not sure if that's ok or not. Your advice is appreciated. Thanks.
Hey buddy, The units must be different colors and easily disguishable from each other. Don't worry, you can still make different schemes for each unit and have them blend in perfectly
As long as the Kontera is not made to look like your adsense ads, and as long as a visitor could not reasonably confuse the two, then you are fine. Since Adsense use text or image ads and because Kontera uses inline-text ads, they could not possibly be confused with each other - regardless of what colors they are using.
Hey guys - thanks for the info. Yeah I guess what was a bit confusing for me was the whole "AdSense/Kontera look-alike". I didn't really understand that since Kontera is simply linking within the tex, while AdSense are ads that are completely separate from the text itself. I feel a bit better now. Sidenote: Hey ssandecki - thanks for chiming in. Just a heads up, you can remove the funnies link from your site. It is no more :/ Long story...
Today only i started with konetra. I don't think there is similirty with adsense and konetra. Konetra is highlighting inline text but adsense is standout from rest of the text.
It's perfectly alright. I've received cheques from both Google and Kontera, both of them running on the same site at the same time.
Allow me to correct the incorrect posts (above).. Kontera IS contextually-based advertising The updated Adsense TOS DOES allow other contextually based advertisers as long as the 'look and feel' are different enough that they cannot be confused with Adsense ads. You can read about the updated TOS in the Jensense Blog. ..
