My lenses did great for the last pr update so that is a great set of links for my web sites. Especially as most of those lenses haven't been touched since creation.
Well, squidoo lenses aren't gold mines for me, but i get about 20 targeted niche visitors per day into my lens, from wich approx. 5 visitors (25%) go to my website. 2 or 3 of them each day signup and become customers. So I think it's worth, because traffic is free and it takes about 30min a day to manage this lens. I think squidoo is a good thing
Good to listen that squidoo works that good. How you get 400visits at your lens? you did any marketing for that or anything more you did like comenting other's lens etc.?
Odd what I am noticing with my hubpages articles is that they are getting google page 1 or 2 and most of the competition is from about.com - can't see any squidoo - and there must be lenses using the same keywords!
I have 3 squidoo lenses and all of them have ranked high and fast in google searches. I think these are good to have out there to increase your web and funnel more people to your main site. Jimmy Vee
To get lots of visits you need to promote your lens. Follow the tips at squidoo. Join related groups on squidoo, stumble and digg your lens. If you can get your lens to rank well on squidoo then it will get some good traffic. You need to join and start using squidoo then.
I also hear alot about squidoo, but I haven't used it yet. I guess I will make good use of the squidoo ebooks I have sitting on my computer and read about it and the benefits... maybe that'll pump me up to get started. ~Love2Write~
Seth Godin is brilliant - but I don't use squidoo. I still agree with you that it help generating traffic.
