And be sure to ask one with real-world experience in domain name-trademark
issues, not one who specializes in divorce.

You know what? If you're hell bent on using this name, go ahead and do it. Put a great deal of time and effort into developing your site. Then when you come back here crying about how Google is shutting down your site, me and everyone else who warned you can enjoy a good laugh.

It's worth nothing. I wouldn't pay a penny for that particular domain name. Why would you ever register it?

Your odds of selling this name are slim. Just register a new name for your site and continue on. It will cost you less than 10 bucks.

    I wouldnt worry about it..
As long as your not hurting their bussiness or they have actual (damages or loses)
    Then they wont care..

If they sue you 10,000 others will make google domains just for the publicity and they will be forever in court you get my point?

Do what you want man you have freedom of the internet as long as you dont hurt anyone:)

Wow, some of the people here saying you can use it are giving you misinformation. I hate when people give misinformation on a public forum, especially regarding an issue that can get you sued.

Read up on trademark infringement and intellectual property rights. Your domain DOES have legal issues. Google HAS sued people in the past for trademark infringement.

In that case why don't you buy the name off him and use it yourself?

I think if there was going to be a problem they shouldn't offer the domain name for sale. if it's legally purchasable it's ok to use at your own will!

most websites or domain registrants dont let you use certain domains even if not taken

I agree it shouldn't be up to the consumer it should be up to the register to ensure these guild lines are followed!

There are situations where you can use someones trademark in a domain. Look at paypalsucks.com that site is protected by freedom of speech because it's criticizing paypals service. It's up to you as the person who is registering the domain to analyze what your intentions are and insure you are within the law.

    what about justfuckinggoogle.com

lol and many other sites ive seen that have google on it and that have been for ages and havent been sued and btw

the only reason Froogles.com Got Sued was because Google was thinking of that service as froogle.com and google wanted it because of maybe typo's and froogles.com is still up im going to stay with my domain i dont see anything wrong w/ it

That could be fought in Canada. You can't sell anyone anything if it will be considered breaking the law and it's called entrapment! ( or something similar)
