Hi all, I've read on a few sites that it's possible to analyse visitors based on time of day in Google Analytics but I can't seem to find this anywhere, can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!
Can you elaborate your question? As what I've understand on your question, you were asking if where can you find the average time of your visitors spend on your site. You can view the average time of visits in traffic sources >> All traffic sources >> Avg. Time on Site You can view the report monthly or set the date of report that you want to view.
Hi, Thanks for the responses, I'm really after some stats based around what time of day visitors come to my site, something like 100 visit between 9:00am and 10:00am, 120 between 10:00am and 11:00am etc. Here are a few examples of where it's mentioned: www.webware.com/8301-1_109-9717283-2.html www.morevisibility.com/semblog/articles/google-analytics/ Hah - and in searching for those sites I've just found the answer! This post tells us: http://getsatisfaction.com/google/t..._there_any_way_to_view_traffic_by_time_of_day I haven't checked this out yet but it looks to make sense to me. So there we go, if anyone wants to know the post above has the answer! Matt
I have often wondered this as well, say when you have a goal in place, just when a visitor hits a contact reply page, can you narrow this down to that specific visitor if you know the time the contact came in?
