i agree with this statement , adds dont suck it s widget buck who s sucking and it is sucking hard , money of advertisers nd eating hopes of webmasters .
first they said that their programme is pay per click and then (even before first payout ) they refused to entertain Publishers having less US or Canada traffic and not refusing to pay for clicks from other countries
why do they think only US and Canada residents can do online shopping and rest all world is poor and Under developed ? if they were in for a Referral programme why they promoted their programme as a PPC programme and changing the rules midway , they have lost their creditibility within two months of their launch

Were they in such a hurry that they forget what their add network would be ? will it be based on pay per click or referral adds ??

dissapointed by widget bucks ,

    Great minds think alike.

Also, please learn to NOT POST UNRELATED STUFF IN THE ADSENSE SECTION! Post it in the PayPerClick section!

hey i like this "why do they think only US and Canada residents can do online shopping and rest all world is poor and Under developed ?" -- it can apply to adsense too ... china click ? 1 cent hello

oh and look at yahoo, only serve US publisher and count only US traffic.

this kind of judgement is so wrong.

WTF they should learn and stop assuming the US (click & traffic or just anything in general ...) is superior than others ... if so they can stop relying on import and grow everything in their backyard =P

no offense ... just thinking out loud, Canadian here.

yyCC, I agree with you 100%, but it's the advertisers problem. These advertisers DON'T want international traffic. I posted about it in my blog...

If there are international companies who start advertising as much as advertisers in US/UK/CANADA, I'm 100% sure this would put an end to international publisher discrimination, but it's just not happening. I've been watching the international advertisers for about 1 year now... there has been NO major improvements in a year! It's ridiculous.

To those that complain about wigetbucks and yahoo wanting US traffic, I think most of widgetbucks and yahoo advertisers are based in the US. Just think about this, if you are a American store owner and only ships in the US, then why would you want to pay for traffic from China? That is just throwing away money, and business people don't like to waste money, so these ppc programs now only allow US traffic and/or Canadian traffic since this is where most of their advertisers are from. It is all about MONEY. If more international businesses advertised in these programs then more doors will open for everyone. AdSense is international because it actually has enough (sometimes) international advertisers.
