    232,066 Impressions, and 338 Clicks = $82.82

Is that a reasonable income for a Gaming niche?

It just feels like I should be making more for those numbers, but I could be wrong.

Oh My Lanta!! Almost a quarter of a million impressions and you only made $82.82???

    Yikes.

I did read on another post that some guy was making pennies on his gaming niche, and he said stay away from those. In that many impressions on my sites I have made over a couple grand there tough guy.

I knew something was wrong it just doesn't seem right. I work hard on my sites and it hardly seems to pay off.

And the person that said something about their gaming niche making pennies was me lol, I just had posted about that in that guys 1k impression thread.

If someone is willing to help me out with improving my $$ for my stats I would be happy to pay you for your troubles!

that's not bad what u are getting, it depend on the niche as everyone always say. I can tell you I got 3x your click, 2x your impression and the earning might still be lower than your earning. It's smart pricing or w/e u call it. Consider yourself lucky.

338 clicks for that amount is good, so it's not your CPC which is of trouble to you, more likely your ad placement and corresponding CTR. Let me know what your URL is and I'll try and help you out.

All that I can tell is that you're having a very bad CTR if you only got 388 clicks with al those imressions.
Try to improve your ad placement to get a better CTR.

Gaming sites don't pay good, however revenue should be higher with that amount of impressions i think.

very good cpc. Gaming niche has a low ctr to begin with. Move around your ad placements and see if you get any improvements

yeah gaming converts less than other niches, maybe you should sell your ad space based on impressions ?

Agree with lkj. Offer direct advertising to advertisers and ask for a per impression charge.

I visited your site and I can tell you a few simply things that will improve your CTR.

    1. Move your skyscraper ads to the left of the page, all the way to the far left if you can.
    2. Get rid of the boxes around every ad, it keeps your ads from blending into your content.
    3. Being a forum you will want to change up your ads every once in while, regular users will get used to ads being in particular locations. You will get flack for moving ads or changing ads from about 10 people- do it anyway.
    4. Blend ads better with copy and forum posts.

Those four things should more than double your revenue.

With that many impressions, you should try adding some ads where you get paid per impressions.

Okay hey I made a vertical ad to put all the way on the left as suggested. How do I get to edit the side template, All I have ever used is footer and header.

    Thanks!
