So get into it....the world is your oyster...

    Site Features

Kwakit.com uses a content management system that allows you to own a news 'voting'
site like Digg.com. Site visitors/users generate content by submitting news and
voting and commenting on other submitted stories. This means that the site's growth
is user driven. You simply act as a moderator while watching your site grow.

Why not sign into the site right now to see what your users will experience? www.Kwakit.com.

Promote your favorites to the front page, invite friends to join, make friends within the
community of fellow 'Kwakkers'. Vote stories down if you don't like them. Customize your
profile with your own avatar. Save the Bookmarklet that allows you to 'Kwak' a story or
site with one click on your browser's toolbar (Like www.stumbleupon)

Similar successful sites using the same technology are www.Sphinn.com and www.PluggIM.com

Kwakit comes with one year free hosting, control panel access for all usual bells and whistles,
e-mails etc.Hosting renewal incl. domain name renewal in year 2/3 etc - just US$90 p.a.

if you choose to transfer to another web host, you will need to re-create and configure a new MYSQL
database which would basically mean starting from scratch.

However, we can do this for you and transfer all files to your own web host for a very
    reasonable fee.

    NOTE:
    * Pages can be programmed to include advertising code (Adsense, affiliate links etc.)
You will need a programmer to do these for you...if I like your offer, I can do it
    at NO EXTRA COST

    * Help forums for advice on techniques to optimize the site is available

    What else can I say?

This is the perfect site for someone seeking a high profile news presence on the web.

So Good Luck and Happy Bidding

    P.S.
I prefer that you throw your questions in the open...not by pm...
Unless the situation warrants it, then this is no problem.

What actually makes it $4000 ? domain ? The content management system is Pligg, which is for free, and which is not so special.

have you changed anything besides ducks on the top of the page ? It's same as it's downloaded ( I mean pligg). Also how is it possible to reach 4000$ if traffic is minimal.

Agreed. There was not even an attempt to create a unique design. This is the default Pligg template.

This site is just not worth very much, as pligg/digg communities are very hard to start up without a huge amount of consistent traffic to seed them with.

Not only that, but the site is 7 days old!

I wouldn't know how to set up a site like this - what programming knowledge would I need to administrate it?

thank you all for dropping by my auction. I've sort of anticipated these types of questions knowing I’ve posted this thread in DP Forum  so let me lay it out for you as a whole why kwakit is $4,000. Ive purposely omitted this particular bit for a reason I will tell you later. But I can guarantee that this is not to mislead you in anyway.

    Here's that bit:

We know that pligg is open source right? It helps to be familiar with pligg.
Better yet, a programmer who has the expertise to add and customize current module functionality ...PLUS does a lot more without doing any legal missteps. A programmer now these days cost somewhere between $40 - $200 per day to hire

kwakit.com is $4K ...PLUS my programmer is "yours to own" for 1 full month...

( If you've previously hired one, then you know what Im talking about here and you'll probably agree, 4K is a good bargain)

No I don't agree that it is a bargain.

Show us what they have coded. Where they have stated they will be around.

What you are trying to do is get someone to buy a month of coding support with a front of a free cms system which has no real purpose.

This is a turnkey auction which is full of holes and lots of worry.

You are probably a great person, I am not judging that. But looking at the auction for what it is, this is trying to sell free software and a promise of some un graded coding work.

And why on earth would you not have mentioned this month of programming at the start of the auction if it is what makes it so valuable.

Stinks of scam to me :(

I completely understand where you're coming from. Besides, why would someone else pay a forumer with no iTrader credits...'way too risky.

Thats said, I always deliver my promise....always :)

In fact I have 100% eBay feedback rating to prove that...
( accumulative rating I have had since year 2002, NOT by buying
    100 x 1 cent ebooks )

Here's a work done by my programmer for a site I previously sold in eBay using php fox (@ 4K). The buyer liaised with my programmer - one on one - most if not all add-on requests, done - the whole process finished within a month..

have a look at the site here

My eBay username btw is the same as my DP forum name : sitemarker
