    Whenever I setup new Vista machines the Windows Live search is enabled by default in the task bar next to the time..mind you these have all been Dell machines so may have something to do with that (a deal between Dell \ Microsoft).

    See page 1 for the link, sign-in with a Windows Live account (or create one) then add your site. I added the XML auth page to the root of my site but not sure if you have to do this to get the rank.

    When you log into the webmaster section you will see your websites link on the left, providing you have added your site click that site, it will then display the summary page showing your ranking's.

    If you still having trouble, check the following:

    1) Make sure your in the webmaster center not windows live one, the link is http://webmaster.live.com/
    2) Make sure you have added your site with the correct address
    3) Upload the Authentication XML document to the route of your site (the content for this is provided when you add your site).

    The green bars is your rank..it doesnt show a number just bars 1 for ok more for better..

    My old site is all green bars so i guess thats full ranking..
    And my 2 newest sites just 1 green so i guess thats good.
    Old one is 1 year old and the new ones are barely a month old..:p

    It is another trick to gain more respect, personally I am glad some webmasters adapted to the WWW without Pagerank and I seriously hope there won't be huge dependence on this factor. I believe this is just to gain a users' attention and attract more users to use MSN instead of Google.
