    Hi,

sometimes I see those "Public Service Ads by Google" like:
I'm wondering if their EPC sucks, and whether I can prevent them to appear or not

    Regards

Ya, their ECP doesn't suck - but you need more quality content so they can display the quality advertisements.

they don't have any epc, because you don't paid when people click on 'em.

set up an alternate ad in your adsense code.

When you create the ad block you can turn off the PSA. The reason they are shown is that adsense can't find advertisements for your content. I suggest you find an alternative advertisement to show in that case.

i've never seen that kind of ads on my websites. i think they appear if you're not choosing the channel right.

You should make new ads and add own ad that will show when google does not have any paying ads. The more content you have on site the more ads google can show.

Adsense serve ads based on keywords on content.
So, you should be writing keyword rich content and the PSAs will be vanished.

    Finally a correct answer.

On top of what was said before, you DO NOT get paid for Public Service Ads. You can get 1,000 clicks and have $0.00. So it's normally in your best interest to get rid of them.

Just give them a few days and it should correct itself, give google the time to find what they need to display related ads. I see this happen a lot when the domain does not match up to the topic of your site. If it doesn't correct itself in a few days then you may need to look into the quality of your content (in relation to the domain name as well as your h1 and h2 information)
