i love the animated fav icon,the layout looks great,i only think that your logo should be bigger

 

You could do with a piece at the top of the website to explain what the site is all about.

I had a chance to look at your site today.

My Thoughts

Logo
Your logo could be touched up more. Especially with such an excellent domain name... I think your site deserves a good quality designed logo.

Slogan
I think your logo could use a slogan underneath it to describe your site.

Example: Our take on news about Technology

Comments Section
Your comments section seems to get to close to its border edge. Please see image blow:



Gas Money Readers Section
Just a slight portion of your title tag gets lost in the right border. Please see image below:



Navigation
It seems that most of the navigation links work well. Just that it is not complete with all proper content.

Modules
I feel that all the modules in the center are not needed.

Blog Roll: I think this could be its own page unless people are paying for specific page links. Then maybe provide them a link in the footer section.

Pages: this is the same as the navigation at top. not necessary.

Calendar: I think you can create a new navigation link at top to a calendar page of its own.

Forum
It would be nice if you could integrate your forum into your site rather than have it open a new site. This would allow people to keep the main navigation... and see a familiar layout.

Conclusion
Overall, its a good site but could use some updating.

Very Professional, I like the choice of colors.

 

Lhlalyam is right about that slogan thing. But the color scheme is fine. Good domain.

 

ok this review helped the most and i appreciate it. I will get all these things fixed and they were on my list. the forum will have its own design and will be bridged with wordpress so theres no need to register twice.

ill fix all the other issues you point out as well.

looks good to me, though I'd be careful with text-link-ads ads, might hurt your PR (you heard of google kicking some sites, right?)

 

yea i have but I'm just testing the banner for now. hopefully i can fill it with an advertiser soon. thank you all for the reviews. i really do appreciate it.
