Real books. There's no comparison. You can't relax, put your feet up, sip a cool beer when you're reading an ebook. Well, maybe you could, but not as comfortably as the paper version.
I don't mind at all. I read both. I like 'real' books cause I can throw them around and treat them like crap. There's also something kinda romantic about paper and ink. I love buying second hand books, especially ones that have had notes scrawled in them by students/book nerds. But I like reading on my iPAQ too (using the excellent iSilo application), cause I can read 10 books at once, and iSilo automatically bookmarks the page I was last reading. And we all know ebooks are... ermmm... 'inexpensive'. I generally leave my iPAQ in my "conference room" for those extended meetings.
i definitely prefer reading hard copies over soft copies. the only advantage you have in e-books is that you get them for free.
I'd rather a book to read. But that could be something to do with acrobat reader screwing up my PC and making it restart anytime I open it (i've tried re-installing it and usual other things, nothing worked). Plus I like to have something usefull to read if i'm traveling somewhere (I do often, usually not long trips though, half hour to 2 hours usually).
Ebooks are mostly about money making things which I don't like to read. I still prefer a real book (I like travel stories).
Exactly... except for the fact that I'm not allowed to have beer But yeah, i just love to lie down, my head propped up against a couple of pillows and read in what I call the lazyass position Lol, you're kidding right?
For novels and long texts, I prefer a real book. I love buying books, reading them, and then coming back to them (possibly years) later to re-read them. E-books I prefer for short texts or other books where I only need to access a quick couple of pages here and there.
I prefer the real paper ones. I can relax and lie down with any position and still be able to read it.
