Paypal Not Allowing Verified Bank As Payment Method

Hi,

Paypal won't let me select my verified bank account as an option to pay for something. It will let me for smaller payments, but for bigger it doesn't let me select it with the radio button. I have enough money in the bank account to pay for the amount in question.

When I click "Learn More" it says:

This has only started happening since they updated their site, I used to be able to make much larger payments...

How do I sort this? I need to pay ASAP.

Yes as mentioned in first post.

 

Same thing with me.
Had to use a credit card.

After a bit, a paypal rep told me that in many cases, the banks would not transfer the money, or the account holder would do a chargeback.

 

this happened to me but in the opposite way. it wouldnt allow credit card but it would allow bank

 

You can do charge back with credit card as well

 

Credit Cards can have chargebacks, but do ban accounts have that as well? I'm not sure.

I wasn't able to add dad's Debit card onto PayPal, but could add the Bank account without any problems.
