Can you hear your hard drive

    I always hear my hard drive when I am sleeping. Maybe I am just addicted to the intenet

    Do you have your computer on when your sleeping?

    I only hear mine if it's on. Really shouldn't be able to, my new computer is much better though.

    I sleep with music turned on, so i don't hear my HDs/fans even though there's not quiet

    I too hear my fans not HD though .. You should either change ur HDD or spend time offline :p

    I can hear only my cpu fan sound not my hard disk sound.
    And a big QUESTION why will we keep our computer open when we are sleeping or do you want to say you are so addicted to the computer.

    You should only be able to hear your fan. Maybe there's something wrong with your hdd?

    ye i like tried it just a few minutes ago.. but i dont seem to hear my hard drive.. :D only the fan.. maybe your right theres sumthin wrong with his hard drive..

    Do you mean mouse inactivity? That is crazy. You are reading a page of a website for 3 minutes without moving the mouse then *BAM*, your computer turned off...

    No, I mean 3 minutes of hard drive inactivity. I have 3 drives, 2 of them are 'off' unless I'm writing or reading from them. My system drive is a suspended PATA Barracuda, so I can't hear it unless I put my ear on it :)
