Yes it does, but orgin of country does not change the fact that his site is written in English and therefore it complies with their TOS. Therefore, they cannot rightfully ban him. You can't find random excuses to ban people just because they are not converting well and not have people calling you a scam.

What I dont understand is that a lot of people seem to be having issues with WB yet a lot of people continue to use them. I think the hope of miraculous earnings keep people stuck to it.

People.... there's an old saying which is true 99% of the time.... IF ITS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT MOST LIKELY IS!

    Some good news !!!!!!

    1. October's earnings have now been confirmed in the my bucks page within the widgetbucks control panel, so if we can make it to dec 15th without getting banned.....money earned will be in the bank!

    2. Widgetbucks are attempting to address the competitive rpc issue and have commented on their blog.

A quick review...for those to lazy to read....lol

    * International traffic is not converting

    * Continuation of suspending violating accounts

    * Hand reviewing sites

    * Non-converting clicks (to sale) by users geographically outside the U.S. and Canada

    * Recover RPC levels over the next 7 to 10 days

 * Clicks coming from outside the U.S. and Canada - no publisher credit will be given for those clicks

    * international site publishers are ok though but only US & Canadian traffic will count

 * WidgetBucks will become a "gated" ad network that will require approval to join

Yeah they're going to feel the heat now, even the loyal supporters are getting mad now, at least they could reduce CPC for those countries out of US or Canada - but rid it completely is plain wrong.

They need to find alternate ad' formats or worldwide products to sell as an alternative, it shouldn't be up to us to rotate ad's specific to country of visitors origin.

Another apparently slick new program looks like it will crash and burn.

This is an email that I have just received from Widgetf*cks.

I was actually suspended 2 weeks ago for using a widget on a non-english site ( but this was placed before their change of terms and conditions on the 25th October )...

I have replied asking if this email is related to the original incident or is it something new ?? If its the original incident, I think its pretty lame to receive this email 2 weeks later.

Anyway, there is an interesting line in the email that I have made bold !!

This e-mail is to notify you that your WidgetBucks account has violated our terms of service and has been suspended.

Your site has violated the following provision of the WidgetBucks Terms and Conditions (http://www.widgetbucks.com/terms.page): Non-English Language Site. Our Program Policies state that you may only place widgets on pages with content that is primarily in English. You may not display WidgetBucks widgets on pages whose content is primarily in an unsupported language. Placing WidgetBucks widgets on non-English language sites without our permission is a violation of this policy.

Since you have violated these terms, your account has been suspended. Earned commissions, bonuses, and fees shall be forfeited as a result of your violation of our terms.

If you have a question or believe there has been an error, please feel free to contact us at http://support.mpire.com.

    WidgetBucks Compliance Team

Very nice of them to let me know about this - as if I didn't !!

That's exactly what I am doing, I have $25 (sign up bonus) + $30~ in my account. I stopped using it already, now we just have to see if they can find a reason for banning us before paying. Maybe add a rule like "Inactive account for more than one day will be suspended" LOL ...

This is so unprofessional. the company has no policy

I'm afraid that widegetbucks truned out to be a scam already - I have always suspected their payout delay since the start

Now they didn't ever pay anyone and I wonder how much did they earn from advertisers!

I wonder how did they make that big buzz in webmasters world

Why doesn't everybody just wait until the Dec. 15th payout. Then, if nobody gets paid, then you can call them scammers. Everybodys jumping the gun on this one. RELAX!!! But, if they do rip us off a "lynching" is in order. WidgetBucks.com
