2 Suspicious Transactions from PayPal itself?

Yesterday I received 2 paypal transactions ($0.50 each) and in the username/email column it says... "PayPal". When I go to the transaction details I see this:

So no paypal email, no info at all. Note that it says "correction" before the transaction ID. Do you know what are these payments for and from who?

 

Some kinda fee? Email and ask?

 

I should send email to PayPal? I don't mind for free $1. I am just curious if somebody had similar experience.

 

dont complain free $1 now if this happened every hour that would get you some extra cash

One of my friend had experienced this.I don't know your status but my friend recieved 1.02$ payments three times just 30 minutes delay of each.And also he didin't recieved any mail from paypal.He was very shocked to see that.But i suggested him to wait for few days.He waited for 15 days and then contacted paypal but as usual paypal didn't replied to his mails and he was in trouble.On the 17th day he accepted that payment.Just after that he recieved mail from paypal that he had recieved of 1.02$ from XXXXXX verified person.There were three mails like this.He got happy that he got a free money.And now it went up 6 months he got no problem with it.
Now my suggestion for you is that wait for few days.Atleast 10 and then ask paypal, and if were lucky to get a reply from paypal then you will get solution.But if they didn't replied then do as i mentioned, i mean accept the payment and cheers.

Actually I am using business account so I don't have to accept the payment. It is automatically received, however I don't see a refund option too, but I don't need it anyway. I don't think PayPal would make me some problems for $1, and it is THEIR mistake, not mine. I think I'll get through my curiosity and take the money as some sort of compensation for the fees they earn from each of my transactions.

 

if paypal initiated a 'correction' to your account it could be for maybe over charging you for some fee in the past, etc...

call them and ask...(i never email them...calling is so much quicker)

 

I know paypal can do nothing with you for a single dollar.But let me tekk you that suspecious payments brings fe problems.Can't explain it in clear words.Better is to wait for 10 days and then contact paypal for it.And you have bussiness account but the frined who imentioned was not having a bussiness account so there is some difference in you and his account.But let me ask paypal and i will post it here.You don't call paypal as i can do a free phone call to paypal from here so you don't have to take tension of that.I will ask paypal showing up a problem with my own account.Perhaps they may betterly guide me.And then i will mention the result here.

My friend in Australia also got the same thing a while back. According to him, it was a return of fee which they had overcharged from the real fee amount.

 

i would say youre one lucky person... but i would suggest you to contact paypal as soon as possible before anything bad happens to you..... it could be good or could be a disaster.... and after all that happen to me, i dont really hope for anything good comes out of paypal...
