Hi guys, Here is just a general idea on how to improve your ratio on your private bittorrent tracker. Remember, this only works if you have access to usenet binaries. 1) Go to your private bittorrent tracker and see what files are popular and have loads of leechers. 2) Search Usenet and download that release. Save it in your downloads dir. e.g c:\downloads 3) Go to your priv. bittorrent tracker again and download that torrent file. 4) Open ur bittorrent client and load the .torrent, make sure to save the files in your download dir e.g c:\downloads 5) Ur bittorrent client starts checking and sees that you already have those files on your pc. You will automatically start seeding that file! 6) Done, you don't have to download that file from your bittorrent tracker, you only seed it. 7) You only upload and don't download. Which will improve your sharing ratio since you havent downloaded anything from your tracker, you only seed those files. Your sharing ratio will improve This is just a general idea.. Regards
No it isnt. You would still be downloading, even from your peers ( leechers ). Just try to do it my way. It works. Been doing it for 2,5 yrs.
