Hello DP, This is my first time creating a landing page, before now I was just experimenting with using the affiliate link and adwords, but decided from reading this forum that landing/squeeze pages are the way to go. At the moment it's just the basic landing page and a FAQ aswell as using adwords to hopefully get buyers . I would appreciate it if you could check out my site and give me any input and feedback. All C&C are welcome as this is my first time and I know it won't be perfect and I would really like to improve it, but unfortunately I’m not an expert. www.antispywareguidepro.com
Hi, Nice, try and making the "review" word bigger on the page or consider adding it to the headline. Like instead of "Anti-Spyware Guide Pro" try adding "Anti-Spyware Software Reviews". Basically you should grab the reader as soon as possible. maxi
Thanks guys, all the information you can give me on how to improve my landing page is much appreciated..
Yeh, I just used the default font, but will see about changing it to a nicer one. The image header was just one I found last minute, i'm not really sure what would look good there and am no pro in PSP or photoshop etc...
Hi You could do with telling your viewer what the other 5 products were you reviewed, for good comparison.
I'm trying to think of what I could do to spice up a the header image a bit, make a bigger/better one. Only thing is i'm not really a graphic designer and it's hard to think what sort of image sums up antispyware..
I agree with Maxi991, you should try to grab the readers attention as soon as possible. Ask A Question A question or statement that grabs the attention of your visitors. Asking a question that your visitors can relate to is very important if it is relevant to your keywords. Provide Doubt or uncertainty Give your visitors a prelude to what your landing page is going to talk about. Instill some Doubt. Let them know that if they are not doing something that they could be losing out. By using technique you will connect with your visitors emotionally. Provide a Benefit (Most Important) Tell your visitors what they can expect to learn from your website, or what the purpose of the site is.
I like the idea and I can live with the lay-out. I think where it really lacks is in the typography department. I think you should look at better fonts, probably san-serifs and make sure that they are not just strictly of the standard HTML range. Also, you desperately need a logo that says "professionalism", this one looks very home made. Great effort so far - keep it up!
Hi It looks good, But few corrections, Make the logo a little Bigger and align with the text "anti spyware guide pro"
OK, I think there is a general consensus that I desperately need a better header logo. Which is the first thing I will look into. I am going to take all the points made in this thread on board and during the weekend make the necessary changes. So hopefully the next time it is viewed it should look a lot better and maybe even convert some traffic. Thanks for all the advice so far
