    Mia, your post is indexed, but only in Google. All posts from #1 to #26 in this thread are indexed at this moment. By my experience posts may be indexed within 24 hours. Forum posts can get high for a specific keyword. This is specifically true for one other webmaster forum though.

    I guess the best option to make certain it won't get your site de-listed is to not make the link you are putting in the 300k signatures going straight to your homepage. Have it directed to something besides that like a sublink on the website. I don't know what the actual effect would be since they are only 1 way links. I do know that link exchanges do have adverse effects on your page's ranking. I don't know if it would actually get you banned/de-listed. I am certain it would hurt your ranking though. Let me do some research on that and I'll get back to you on that.

    Surely your forums posts with your links attached (sigs) are considered as backlinks even some of them are nofollow... As long you maintain it, meaning you don't change you sigs... If you do then surely it will affect your ranking...:p

    thunderbolt007, if the search engines can't see the links with rel="nofollow" (which is exactly what rel="nofollow" does) then they can't count it.
