Well there we go, we new it was coming, sucks really, looks like I'll be buying some US traffic, you 4ss Holes, New Screening test aswell before registration / acceptance.
will be interesting to see if CPC drops or were they already doing this anyway ? it may explain the erratic behaviour of CPC, if it was already in Place. If my CPC drops aswell as only US and Canada clicks counted I will be on the bandwagon and moving along.
Just recieved this email: Now what where they thinking?, they should have a feature where we can choose what to place for users other than US, CANADA. because i dont want my ad space wasted for the other 50% of my traffic from Europe and Uk etc.
Yeah they are expecting us to rotate our ad's ie. Display Widgets to US and Canada, then (our sites to) read Country of Origin and display suitable ad's in place of Widgets to rest of the world. What a joke. I am glad I am not one of their investors. Really they should have a varied CPC for other countries, or an alternative ad' system for rest of world. I'd like to see them start selling links or banners to members as an alternative stream of income, so they could be a Widget Bucks crossed with Adbrite type site.
haha i just got the email and come to check out the bashing. You forgot the main point: They should have done the account approval thing in the beginning but i think they got enough free advertising by those site that should not qualify and were let in, wrote a blog post about how "good" it is, got a bunch of referral signed up. Now they and the referrals are there to be hand picked for suspension one by one. I think widgetbucks is smart in showing the candy in the beginning, and it worked wonders for them. If i have a blog post about them i would delete it right away so to stop giving them free advertising. btw when i try to login i got "An unexpected system error occured. Please try again later. " is that mean i am banned also? diddn't get any email .
Possibly LoL , DoH , they are apparently updating or were so maybe that's to blame, they have stopped me working - I'm stuck now, waiting it out to see if I am suspended also. I have defended these fools for that long it's not funny, now they're slapping everyone in the face, they really need to set a standard CPC rate for EACH country and / or even find products that can be sold worldwide, I thought that they were saying "we have 1000s of dealers" - are they all US based ? What about payments to non USA citizens - I don't have a US dole bludgers i.d etc. so what do we do ? give the money back to them ?
