i definitely love rap music! but some people just hate that. I prefer rap songs with a nice lyrics... and also RnB music...
I'm a huge fan of both Rap and Hip-Hop, my 2 favorite genera. I believe it takes just as much talent as any other form of music. If it didn't take any talent, everyone would be rappers making lots of $$$
raps nice but the best of all time was defintley tupac hes the one rapper that i actualy can say i respect his songs stuff from people like 50 cents sounds good, but is w.e
Underground rap = bad Modern Mainstream rap= bad Almost all of the current popular rappers are talentless hacks of those who came before.
haha I like how you put music in quotes. I personally don't like it, but I can see why others do. To freestyle rap it takes a lot of talent I think.
I like rap about as much as I enjoy dentist drills, or ballpeen hammer taps on my toenail-less toes, or onion-garlic-apple pie.
Haha... I had nominated you for DP member of the year, but now I'm taking it back! I like some... Like Kanye West's new song "Stronger" is pretty good...
well said, though all things being equal, I'd want you at the helm of that onion-garlic-apple pie to cook it!
Hahah - must confess, not far from my mom's once-upon-a-time idea...an early antipathy towards onions (esp. with cold liver - cold, because I'd sit at the dinner table for hours crying over the damn grey meat, brown onions and bucket of ketchup to drown both) was likely formed by my mom's experiment with onion-plum pie. Seriously. Music - not exactly the best to judge rap, to be honest. My idea of "new" is moving to 16th century courtly music from 15th century pilgrimage chants. Might be just a bit behind the 8-ball...
I do not have a liver horror story but a similar one related to beef stroganoff, the smell of which made me want to wretch!
Eh, Rap is just one element of Hip-Hop music. Rap itself relies on the mcee/rapper themselves as much as the music, sadly in the mainstream alot of the bigger name artists relies on the beat with several of the 1 hit wonders being nameless lames who'll be forgotten tomorrow tho this can be said of many artists within the scope of a given genre (hell I can hardly still remember Solder Boy who's existance i'll forget about in another month). Not to say that the underground aspects is perfect but it's much easier to weed through who's nice & who isn't. IMO the quality of Hip-Hop in general didn't go down... it's just harder to find those artists who's making the quality music seeing how the face of the mainstream doesn't have as many talented artists as they did back when A Tribe Called Quest, Rakim, Kane, KRS, Slick Rick, etc did. Now for every one artist in the mainstream who shows a hint of talent there's gonna be 5-10 more idiots dumbing 'ish down. But short answer: Yea I can fux with rap (just read this and save yourself a few minutes of reading the rant of a hip-hop head)
