Directory M - Seems Fishy - Has anyone gave em a shot?

    A rep from Directory M called me the other day with a pretty good pitch. Seems like a good way to generate locally targeted inbound links from powerfull sites. It looks good....but smells fishy.

    I don't like the fact that my ad will appear in the framed box

    Are visitors going to actually scroll through that long list of advertisements to find yours and click on it?

    That would be my question.

    My goal in submitting here would be for SEO purposes, not traffic generation. But good question :)

    My goal with Directory M is for page rank generation (part of SEO) not unique visitor generation.

    That being said, would placement here http://www.bizjournalsdirectory.com/dm/Web_Marketing-Seattle-d5757.aspx using the Directory M model make sense?
