1and1 and Hostgator has best conversions as far I can tell.
Dreamhost is also good but not pay as hell.

The host won't make a difference with sales UNLESS the host is always down or something

Just use a host that has 99% uptime and that will do you best

    Hope that helps !

Make sure whatever host you use offers SQL databases and it would benefit you if they have cPanel as well.

I just changed to hostgator as it was recommended by other BANS store owners. and it is fantastic!

Don't use godaddy, bot myself and other BANS owners have had countless problems with them

Yea - I wonder if the $100 sign up commsion has anything to do with the recommendation to use hostgator

There is nothing wrong with gaddy or even hostmonster as well

wasn't looking for the hugest payout, more so the most reliable hosting w/out any downtime. If at the sametime I could advertise their hosting services and profit from the offers, so be it..... hostgator/other one.. any others being used for BANS sites...

There's been a lot of complaints about godaddy's speed with BANS, just a heads up. I use Dreamhost for all of my sites, and there's an issue with magic_quotes that you have to deal with. If I was to have a host strictly for BANS I think it'd be hostgator.

Ion-Web.com is a solid smaller host with excellent support. Their prices are solid and the techs there will work with you on just about any script.

I use some small little thingo called digital city hosting.
Hosting 10 sites with them.... using bout 50-60 gig bandwidth a month.
No problems sept slow ftp sometimes.
Oh and it cost like 10 bux for the year :D (yippy for eBay)

Everytime I have tried to promote a host with cj it has failed :( why dont you try and be HONEST and recomend a host u dont get a commission for. You might eb able to get more out of it from bans comish... no??

I would say great. Definitely recommended.

I am not sure if they still sell on ebay but for $10 for a year its great.
I have needed support on two occasions and they have helped me within 24 hours.

EDIT: They do still sell on ebay. http://stores.ebay.com/DigitalCityHosting. I advise buying Reseller Package 1 and not the unlimited ones. You will get 100gig storage and 1000gig bandwidth.

With BANS there is one problem I have with them that a different install.php file fixes that I found on the BANS forum. If anyone goes with these guys I can pm you the different install file if you the same problem i did (you will see it when you install if it happens).

They are Hostgator and 3ix.com. 3ix.com has rates as low as $1 / month, or you can upgrade to $3 a month. Both services are great. The benefit to having two hosting services is that you can link between your sites and maintain different IP addresses. Google likes that. I've had lots of success with my BANS sites using Hostgator.
