Looking for Death Metal Band Recommendations

I like Arch Enemy Revolution Begins

And im looking for suggestions of similar bands, preferably from Scandanavian countries, Sweden, Finland etc

Purely for my listening pleasure.

I like the quality of the above band, im less keen on the over the top Satanic voices of some bands, so if its too dark please dont recommend them.

 

Are you looking for death metal in specific? I'm a huge fan of power metal, especially Dragonforce, Hammerfall, Cryonic Temple.

There's a good bunch of other more death-y metal, like Opeth and In Flames.

 

Hi Martindale, i dont know of Power Metal, so im open to them, i will check those you just recommeded, anymore suggestions that you may have il be happy to know of, thanks.

 

Used to listen to it quite some time back. Would recommend Death( the band), Emperor, Deicide.

you should try to listen to the black dahlia murder , they're from USA but sounds much like a swedish melodic death metal band. in flames, skyfire, and at the gates are awesome too..

 

Metallica and Megadeth are my two favorite heavy metal bands.

the best 2 bands ever is Cradle of filth and trail of tears from england and norway

For good death metal I suggest Death,Opeth, Edge Of Sanity, Hypocrisy, Nile, Morbid Angel

if you like Black Metal at all check out Mayhem,Darkthrone, Emperor, Xasthur, and Leviathan.

Metallica
Iron Maiden
In Flames
Pantera

Those are some of my top most listened to bands

 

Early In Flames is considered Melodic Death Metal.

Funny enough, I only like their early stuff anyway!

The new stuff is mallcore or metalcore. Either way, I don't like it.
