Heart or Brain?

Well... I had discussion with my girlfriend last night about Heart and Brain.

My Opinion:

Heart is just a part of body that pumps blood and circulates it and it has nothing to do with feelings or emotions. Everything we feel first go to our brain and then brain sends commands to any part, heart is one of them.

Her opinion:

Heart can think (pretty non sense ). When you get hurt why you feel pain in your heart ? Why not in brain? Why not in leg or any other part?

Which one you support? Your opinions?

I need both so I like them equally. I don't want one to get jealous of the other...only bad could come of that.

Obviously the brain deals with emotions, and the heart only pumps blood. I think if someone feels pain in their heart it is just symbolism for something else.

To some the pain in the heart is the worse pain of all!!!

 

Is there a point to this? Your heart is the most important facter. You think with your brain (your mind) but love decisions come from your heart.

 

Some women would argue that men can think with a certain other part.

I support you its how or what we do with those feeling or emotions that count.

 

Truth is that the brain is the central computer in your body and nothing can happen without being processed through the brain. You may feel something in your chest/heart area when you are in love but that is a reaction from endorphins being released into your blood stream. Love comes from the heart is merely a romantic version of how the body works.

For example, if you have a bad heart it does not affect your ability to love. However, if you have certain types of brain damage, it could cause you to feel a lack of love or be incapable of feeling many other emotions.

Brain controls all emotions. Heart has nothing to do with it other than supplying it with blood. If your girlfriend literally feels pain in her heart, she should probably go to a doctor.

Of course, the brain is the center of all your emotions and feelings. The heart actually has nothing to do with it.
