Lets say you start a site about Myspace (as we all the keywords for this niche)

and you register your domain as

    www.pimp-myspace-layouts-glitters-comments-hot-sexy-cool-free-codes.com

Would this give you any competitive edge in the serps,
(obvsiously not brandable or good for user experience though...)

Or would google identify this as some kind keyword spamming?

Infact I'm not aware of that why you have asked such question? Being a SEO professional I'll not go for such domains which is stuffed with Keywords. Yeah keyword presence is good in URL from search engine point of view. But in lay man stuff it's even hard to recognise the name of such a big URL.

Regarding SEO terminology its vry harmful that used such a long domain with KW stuffing. its not a user friendly & wont get direct traffic from yr lng domain, when ur branding with domain, audience couldnt remembered yr domain name. n also avoid some hyphen, underscore, dot characters.

    All the Best!!

I agree with "Fonque" and "Mansijoshi".. The domain name you have mentioned here is of no use ... Just change it ... Make it small and insert the main keyword only in that.

Few questions, why do you build a website? So that people know about your site no? Now, if you build a site in such a lame but keyword rich domain name, who do you think will remember the domain name?

The value of the traffic a site receives from direct hits (i.e. people that remember your URL) is way much higher than the value of the visitors that find you once from search engines but will most probably not find you again because your domain is so long that even you have difficulties to remember it.

Not good.... because in the SE results it is concatenated the 4th to the last keywords on your domain is changed to .... I have already seen many websites like that...

If I where you shortened it maybe maximum of 3 keywords on your domain... or 4 keywords if you want...:p

The URL is too long and filled wit keywords which might cause some negative effects.

Try to minimize the use of KWs and be aware with the length of URL coz 65 characters is the max. in some SEs

The advisable number of keywords for a domain is 4 separated by hypens. Keep it short and simple and make it easy to remember.

May be it does help on MSN..but how much changes all the time. I think it can also be problematic and lead to a flag for keyword stuffing, when the domain name is mentioned in the text and anchor tags a lot.
