Looking for quality hosting (UK or U.S based)

    Hi guys,

I'm losing patience with my current hosts, and am looking to transfer my domains elsewhere, providing I can find a quality, reputable long-term host.

I've had problems in the past with false promises, lack of support etc, so will only consider a move to a host who can provide evidence of a quality list of reputable clients.

I also require the following in addition to the usual requirements you'd expect from a host:

    - Up to date versions of mySQL and PHP
    - Assistance (or at least guidance) in transferring a large phpbb forum
    - Assistance with transferring all domains to the new servers
    - Monthly payment via PayPal
    - Free setup

I'm based in the UK myself, but have never hosted in my own country due to U.S hosts being cheaper. However, I will consider hosting in the UK as I have several new sites to launch shortly aimed at a UK audience.

Rather than replying to this thread, I'd appreciate responses to come via PM if possible.

    Many thanks!

    Guys,

I appreciate PMs and the interest etc, but please take notice of what I said in the first post, especially:

I've had problems in the past with false promises, lack of support etc, so will only consider a move to a host who can provide evidence of a quality list of reputable clients.

switching hosting is actually not that difficult these days, especially if the new provider does a free site transfer.
