almost every site with adSense has a Google search box. As rule the box is so small that one word can't be entered into . I wonder how much do you earn from google search box from the total adSense earning. (if you have channel assign to it). Tnanks
You don't need a channel actually to track them, its consider seperate earnings like refferals and adsense mobile. Most people don't earn anything with it. You don't get paid for searches and clicks on search results. Your only income is from the ADs that are displayed on the page and they must be clicked on.
not to much from search, as my focus is not on search. if i put my energy into it im sure i could get something out of it. I would say <$.50 a day
Earnings from Google search box are a bit lower then other formats. Instead of using Adsense Search Box I am using Google Co-Op with integrated AdSense account on Dotian.com and getting few cents every day from that.
Its a good earner for me. Dont use the Search within the Adsense CP. Create a Google custom search engine and add your adsense id. Also add the url of your site to the new search engine, if you have more than one site enter them too. The more niche related sites you have the better. Create a results page using a header & footer. Tell Google the new url and they'll give you two pieces of code, the search box and the search results. Best place to slap the search box is directly below your content. I usually place it after the last paragraph. Fire up the search engine and now you have your own internal search engine that can make more money.
