Where to get a quote for a complete website?

    I am searching for a place, where I can get a quote for a complete website. I don´t have any idea about coding, design etc.. I just got some things in my mind which should be realized, nothing more. Are there any places where I can post what exactly what I am looking for and get quotes (only round about)?

    Another option would be to go to your local Chamber of Commerce and ask them for a list of local Web designers that they'd recommend and then start interviewing them. Just remember that when dealing with people online, a lower price can oftentimes mean a lower quality product (and service). Not always, since there are economic factors like currency exchange rates to consider, but make sure you ask for a portfolio of recent work as well as professional references (my cousin and my pastor do not count as far as you should be concerned).
