hehe, i'm really shocked at the results of a lot of these polls. Especially when you take into consideration all of the suicide bombers that lurk around in the middle east and the fact that they've been fighting for so many years amongst themselves. We (the US) are now involved in it, but I think everyone hopes that we can step out of the mix relatively soon. Even after we leave though, particularly if things do not improve before that happens, then there will continue to be fighting over there and that has nothing to do with what we did or did not do.
You have actually missed the option that is the greatest threat to the world.. Without that the poll is bullshit. The actual greatest threat to the world is - 'Greed'.
You (US) will be out anyways, the resourses are limited and come to an end someday. Iraq, then Iran, after that we'll see who else you will be capable of getting down on their knees, maybe North Korea ? At that time I believe you all be begging to not involve in other countries business. What saves you now, is the distance from your enemies, in the long run with the same tactics your economy will hurt you going downwards, instead of potential enemy's punch back.
I'd blame no single country - all of them are guilty of ignorance, intolerance, and fervent belief in man made bullshit.
Ron Paul KIDDING! I would say oil and it being a diminishing resource. It will probably lead to a major conflict. Probably relating to the Arctic Circle and the claims of rights between the various countries of the Northern Hemisphere
Saudi Arabia has proven oil reserves of 65 years of production. Saudi Arabia is a powder keg ready to blow up with 13 percent unemployment and one of the world's fastest population growth rates (its population grew sixfold since 1960) Most of the Islamic extremism orginates from either Saudi or Iran.
Thats highly subjective. If you look at the body counts, US takes the cake for the most body counts this side of world war 2. As far as the support for the taliban goes, bombs don't change mindsets. Besides, this whole al qaeda thing, if even it is real in the first place, is an aftermath of the Cold War and Pakistan and Afghanistan paid and are paying the price for it in the form of deaths, drugs and long list of things. USSR got away by giving up Central Asia, America got the cake and ate it too. Pakistan being a dangerous place? Doesn't look to me. And that nuclear threat is a bad joke.
I voted USA but not the people of the USA, the crazy fools in charge of the USA doing everything that they can to ruin the world at the behest of Israel, who we all know pwns the USA.
The USA is the biggest threat right now with this idiotic foreign policy we have. We need to get our noses out of everyone's affairs, we cannot police the world and spread our idea of "democracy". We should spread our ideas by setting an example and not forcing it down the throats of foreign countries. It is our foreign policy that got us attacked on 9/11, we NEED to get out of the middle east and wherever the hell else we have troops it is not our job to police the world we have enough problems here at home. I hate our foreign policy it is so stupid those dumbass neoconservatives.
With the neocons in charge of the USA that's not a problem Mia, they will attack whenever they feel like it, then blame it on someone else. Just like they always have done.
That is because the man that you love (and more importantly the people controlling him) have decided not to.
Mia have you read anything of the attacks on 9/11? The 9/11 commission reported that the cause of the attacks were because we were over there. We had troops occupying Saudi Arabia, which is seen as Holy land to the Muslims. Even Bin Laden said in his tape that was the reason they attacked us. No one is going to attack us when we keep our noses out of their business. We need to bring our troops home. Its wastes so, so, so much money have you seen the national debt? MONSTROUS. And no, bringing troops home won't cause chaos in the middle east; the people that tell us this are the same people that told us the war in Iraq would be a "cakewalk". Fool me once... EDIT: By the way, I am even registered as a Republican. I want Republicans to have the goals we had when Bush first entered office. He promised of a balanced budget, limited government, etc. Which I love, I want the national debt slashed, government out of my life, etc. But these damn crazy neocons have this bloated government trying to pry its way into my life with these national ID cards and such, stay the hell away!
