Please appraise this domain name of http://www.nflsuperbowlads.com.

I want to develop it but am unsure because of trademark issues. If I made it a fan site, would that be okay?

Maybe $1 or even not worth a dime given its inherent trademark risks. You can
actually still turn it into a fan site...without hints of commercial use like ads.

I contacted nfl.com but doubt I ever hear a response back from them.

NFL will crucify you if you use it. I used to work for a sports memorabilia company and we couldn't even use the word "Superbowl" in editorial without having to pay a huge licensing fee.

That's what I was thinking. I wish they would develop it cuz it would be a cool site, lol.

Some trademark holders don't actually reply back directly, although it's nice if
they do. However, they could send you a letter later on "asking" you to turn
over the domain name or else.

The worst case scenario you can expect is a trademark holder suing in court
without even sending a cease and desist letter to begin with. Be (a)ware.

That wasn't a good idea. You might not get a response from them, maybe from their lawyers instead. Or they might just ignore your email.

It's got potential TM issues, so I would say $0
