Am I mistaken or is this legal. I read the story over on vbseo how much this guy is making with is forums link. Then I look at his forum here and I noticed he has an image perfectly placed next to his google adsense ads. Isn't that against google adsense rules?
That looks like crap though. Having 2 large rectangles at the top. How would feel if DP had that? it would suck.
That's what I thought, I visit vbseo forums from time to time. They have his forum posted as a sticky over there. I congratulate him on his success, but why does Google allow him to do this. Kind of wrong if you ask me!
That's completely illegal. There are numerous of ROM sites, in which they put a rom screenshot above. ;D
It's completely legal. I'm the previous owner of FireBlades.org and got explicit approval from Adsense on that layout when I set it up. If you line up 4 small pictures over a leaderboard, it's illegal, because that's what I had before I changed to this layout and got their approval. I have one big picture next to an ad unit that shows 4 ads. Completely different than having pictures that appear to be lined up with each ad. Again, this layout is not illegal.
It was only shown to guests, unless the new owner has changed that. All other ads are shown to all members, other than paid subscribers however.
Only shown to guests? I would hope so if I was posting there. Becuase if you click on a new thread it will show the top every time, Would lead to probably alot of accidental clicks in my opinion.
