Is there a theory on dung removal from the vessel ?, and which sailor had that job , would that be the worst job in history ? We need an explanation !

The story of the flood and Noah's ark is a myth. There is no way one structure could hold all the animal species or "kinds" in existence. I find it ridiculous that people(even those in my family) literally believed it happened.

People who believe in this story often say that Noah didn't add "every" species of animal, just "kinds." For example, instead of adding a Cougar, Lion, and Tiger, they just added a "cat" which is a kind for all the felidae family. Logical still finds holds in this argument, because there are millions of "kinds" out there, not including insects.

It may be a myth, but there is also some truth to the story. I.e., it appears in several other traditions besides the jewish and christian ones. More than likely the "flood" was a localized flood that covered a particular region of the earth. However, I won't know the real story till God and I are sitting down at a local pub in heaven enjoying a nice cold brew and chatting about some things.

Careful there, I hear God is a real lightweight; take it easy on the booze.

It is far fetched. I need facts to believe in something, not some crazy story about an impossible sized vessel.

I dont think you guys have grasped the whole concept of a 'miracle'. You know the whole 'extra-ordinary' part of things, anyways this is maybe nothing compared to the splitting of the sea and walking through it, or perhaps walking on water, or even splitting the moon, or raising the dead, i think they would be more of a logistical nightmare lol.

In Islam this was just a regional flood.
