    Hi,

In the firfox browser i have just installed the seo addon tool to have a play.
I put in a competitior web url and it details information about links etc ...
It said they had 6 .edu links?
I have never found these when i have manually investigated this site?

How can i find the urls of these .edu links???

    Thanks

Check the backlinks in Yahoo. Maybe you can find the .edu links there since it shows more links than Google..

EDU TLDs don't have any more weight then other TLD, why do you care so much about them?

Because this competitior is ranking very very well on my target words and this is one aspect of seo (.edu) that i have never tried?
I dont want to get into the 'add more backlinks' i simply want to look at what they are doing and see if it have any bearing on there ranking.

    LAME!!!

Don't pay anyone for that crap.

Just use a backlink checker. Domain-pop.com, backlinkwatch.com and/or smartpagerank.com are all excellent and FREE.

Also, .edu and .gov do not matter. They offer no additional benefit compared to any other tld.
