The search engine robots will follow the first link they find to any specific page. Do not link first with image and try to first link with text.

Article exchanges are same as link exchanges and very useful. You have to publish someone’s article on the history of pudding pops with a link back to their site. They publish your article on the top ten pudding pop flavors with a link back to your site and you both have content as well as high quality links.

Submit articles in top directories to be reprinted on other websites as well as general public. It is a most effective way for one way links. First you have to write a unique and informative article on topic in your area of expertise. At the end of the article add a links to your site and email address.

Write testimonials and review about a its product or services and submitting to your vendor or service provider. This can give you a very high quality link back for your site.

Do more use of graphics and pictures. Websites containing big graphics tend to take a longer time to download, which will most likely discourage a busy browser. The website content has to be unique, and rich in content. It should be regularly updated.
6)
Use PDF document created by adobe acrobat. For link building, you have to write articles 400-500 words that will be informative for people and interesting. You have to convert each page of articles with links your site in to PDF and upload it to free download sites. Freeloaders would pick up on the document. They'd enjoy it and post it on their sites. More people would download it. Half of them will stick it into their webs. You'd have thousands of sites hosting your PDF that links back to your web. This is excellent for link building.

I think you lead the people to confuse of what you said. It is better to use "Do not use more of graphics and pictures." Why? Simply of this "Websites containing big graphics tend to take a longer time to download, which will most likely discourage a busy browser."

I primarily use article submission to article directories to create links,,,,,,,als creates direct traffic.

I have written over 100 articles, some specifically on article marketing, but primarily focused on creating profits online
