    Right.

The action to take is reducing the RPC, or if the site is not sending any convertions at all, just block the URL. To ban the entire account is just stupid, and not giving serious to the user as to why he's been banned is even more stupid.

Well I am making about $0.05 cents a day. Let's hope they don't take that from me.

I must say I never ran WB on any of my sites. Figured I'd wait to see if the too good to be true theory played out...

I thought that backlink in WB code was for those that did not have flash enabled? Not that it matters, but G did not like it so WB must comply.

Yes, WB ads were and are slow to load.

I'm not bashing WB, but from what I have seen I am not very impressed. Maybe time will allow them to evolve or collapse, I don't know. But until I see some payments, hardware/coding improvements, and confidence from those that display their ads, WB will never be on any of my sites.

My only hope is that those people who were honest get paid...

Probably because they can't even afford to pay out the affiliates.

OMG get on Google and Have a look at the size of this project, they have $10 000 000 start up fund from 3 investors alone, now do you really think that they can't afford the payouts ?

All the people pulling the pin prematurely are going to pay the honest webmasters three-fold.

If anyone's going to be causing issues it's the click fraud, people starting rumours, false accusations and BS.

Have a look on Google or even check out MPire' site and have a look at those involved, they're a team of 13 of the best marketers, ideas, gurus, investors on the net.

    MPire' Team and Investors.

And tell me this, who are they going to take care of A) Dodgy Sites. B) The few investors who have invested millions of $$s ? I would say B.

Yes but to ban A LOT of users that aren't even cheating, damn that is some good marketing huh?

Maybe they should invest in some better fraud protection cause there's obviously isn't working. When this thread gets highly ranked on Google I'm sure they are going to down hill.

    LOL someone's a little cut, where's the lot ? I don't see a lot at all, I see :

    A) Non English sites banned.
    B) Made for Widget Bucks sites banned.
    C) Fraudulent clickers banned.

This is the auditing time for WB, possibly their biggest month for new sign ups, think about the number of people trialling out the click fraud protection, add it all up.

They know that banning members will have a backlash effect, so they will only do it with good cause, it makes me laugh when I see people/members who say : "I only clicked my ad's to see if or how it works" , "They didn't tell me I couldn't have it on a non-English site" , "What does made for widget mean" - these are all common in the "I have been banned" threads.

I don't even us WidgetBucks, never will.

Also I Google'd your username I saw your true love for WB so i feel your pain bro. ;)

did you click your own ads ?
I've never used them or even looked them up, but this may be why you're banned.

eh... you forgot to mention those "pornographic sites" that have also been banned :p

They listed those 4 reasons for the bans in their blog.

What's that supposed to mean ? I have had my issues with them and the varying CPC.

    Again what's your point ?

I'm sorry, but out of the 10 or so networks I've used, they are the only ones banning me for "Pornographic content". I also see them banning some blogs because of "no content on pages" when there is obviously content. Trying to defend a affiliate that bans people for no apparent reason just t avoid payout isn't going to work. If adsense has no problem with my site, valueclick has no problem, casale has no problem, and the list goes on and on, but onl widgetbucks does and they are a new startup, obviously something is fishy. The fact that half of us got banned on the same day just confirms their scam.

$10,000,000 or not, you can pay .45 cents a click for ads. That $ 10,000,000 is going to run about pretty fast when you have lots of publishers making 100s of dollars per day.

That would be because they were auditing sites before our payments and referal stats were updated. Hence the publishers booted on same day.

Why not ? There's a lot of adsense publishers paying more for visitors through adsense .... they're not all broke. I am sure they are getting sales and leads. Some for free - from the people who try it for a week or two and leave, plus suspended members sales. The $10 000 000 was start up capital, not directly from sales or advertisers.

Any network that bans 50 percent of their publisher or more on a single day is likely a scam. Especially since none of us had any trouble with other affiliate networks with about the exact same terms. All of them payed me without a peep and never complained -- because they weren't scams. We are still a month from payout remember.

FYI: Not that many people are getting even close to .45 from adsense per click unless your in the medical software field. Stuff like I-phones, laptops and stuff generally get about 1/5 to 1/10 of that. Widget bucks PPC model is easily flawed by their rates.

They are obviously just making up excuses to suspend publishers that aren't converting well for them.

I don't even know why your bothering to defend them as you haven't even gotten paid by them and it will be a month before you get payed.
