Lets create a list of how to get indexed fast!

I am sure many webmasters are looking how to get indexed in google fast so lets make a list! I will start with the first and most obvious thing:

Add your URL to Google

 

get a link of a high profile blog or website that is indexed regularly.

 

Put your link in forum signatures which are crawled by google like this one!

 

If you have a relatively less frequently crawled site, only approach is to put a link of the page on a more frequently crawled site. I have had pages indexed in about an hour doing so.

 

Google bot stopped by my newest site without me submitting anything - no backlinks and no add url submissions. Kinda nice of Google to do that. But ask.com beat them to the punch.

Two search engines spidered without me doing anything. Can't get much faster then that...

Get lots of quality links, let google know you're there.

 

Hmm. Our site was not indexed in 6 months. I had valid XHTML+CSS, Google Sitemaps, Yahoo/MSN indexed, backlinks etc. I finally contacted Google and asked if my site was banned. It wasn't and the next day site appeared on Google with PR2. What I'm trying to say is that there might be no guarantees..

Google will index your blog VERY fast if you are using blogger.

 

Create XML sitemap, submit it to Google Webmasters.
Post useful comments in blogs/forums which have good amount of traffic .

I do usually use G's add URL service and it works fine and fast for me.

Average it takes 3 ~ 5 days to get indexed

I think that is G max power.

 

Many of them explained here I'm just adding some more tips for indexing.

Submit your site content in Social Bookmarking sites like stumbleupon, technorati, del.ici.ous and especially Digg.
Ping your new pages on various pinging sites.
give a link to homepage from every page on site.

Hopefully within a week your pages get indexed in Google.

Submitting a link to a search engine is not going to get you indexed fast. Best two methods are posting in a strong forum and submitting your site to social bookmarking. This can get you indexed in couple of hours! I just wrote about that here.

 

create a google account and log into the webmaster tools, there submit your sitemap. i found this method the best one.
